He’s an average starting QB that’ll hang around for a decade. Lance will be out of the NFL in 3 years
In hindsight, they should’ve kept all their picks and not drafted any QB. But they are a great organization that still has a Super Bowl caliber squad despite this blunder

I don’t think taking Max instead of Lance would be a game changer. At beast as you say he’s another Jimmy G.
Who knows what Purdy will end up being but he’s good enough to say the value from getting him with the last pick somewhat counteracts what you lost with taking Lance.

The only thing is they clearly didn’t LOVE Purdy. They had 3 6th round picks and didn’t take him. Nailing the Mr. Irrelevant pick is a little bit of scouting and a lot of luck
