I really don’t see the Lance hype. Don’t think he translates to the NFL at all

I still have a hard time believing the Bears front office made that decision. Classic case of being sold on a guy’s physical measurable while totally ignoring what he did on the field. I’d feel better about somebody taking Lance than what the Bears did. Though if the 49ers moved up to 3 for him, they are crazy.

Mitch just looked like a guy who should've been a 3rd round pick, develop him behind someone a couple years. Don't think the Bears coaching was capable of handling him right, so no surprise it didn't work out there.

Lance has Mahommes level traits so I don’t think it’s the same thing.

He could easily be a bust but I don’t think it’s the same thing as Mitch

Kap played in a pistol offense in college, which is basically the closest you can get to a triple option without being a triple option

NDSU runs an almost old school NFL offense. He just doesn’t have a ton of experience in high level football in general

Mostly talking body style and arm strength. They’re almost the same size coming out of college.

Trubisky was at best the 3rd best QB in the ACC his last season at UNC behind DeShaun Watson and Lamar Jackson (You could make the case that FSU’s Deondre Francois was ahead of him too). The Bears completely bought into the pre draft hype and forgot that he was just an average college QB.

The NFL has gone insane. Teams will mortgage their future for a chance to gamble on a project QB

Picture Pat Mahomes in Josh Allan’s body.

The biggest flag against Trubisky was that he was a one year QB. There was almost zero precedent for success for that scenario.

The biggest draw for Chicago was probably his polish-sounding last name considering how big the polish community is there

I saw a stat on PFF that Lance’s completion percentage beyond the line of scrimmage is 48%. His accuracy is a major issue.

I remember when the Titans wasted a top 10 pick on Jake Locker because he was super athletic and had great measurables. He also had a 50 something % completion percentage which the organization overlooked.
