Finally turning a corner. It was weird how poorly he’s shot 3 ball to date.

This rookie class has been pretty dang good in general. All of them have some holes, but everybody at the top of the draft is doing well. Even Bagley has turned it on lately.

I'm sure all the teams near the top of the draft wish they would've gotten Luka, but most of the teams in the top 10 got a very solid player at the very least.

All of Bagley, Ayton, Young, JJ3, Knox, Sexton, Carter, and Bamba look promising.

It may not have been a star filled draft, but it definitely wasn't weak.

If the season was two months longer trae would surpass him for ROY. Luk had a better start due to playing better competition before coming into the league. Luk has less of an adjustment.

Ayton was the best rookie but he's hit a wall/slump so he's slid to #3

Not to nitpich, but that 25 and 10 game on the OP pic does not exist, not that I can tell.

But the overall point is well taken. In his last 8 games he's:

22 ppt
9 apg
43% FG%
46% 3pt%

This and it isn't really even close.

Second teen to record a triple double and has four of them now, not to mention several other games where he just barely missed one on a team now that their second-best player is Hardaway Jr.

I don't know if I'd agree with this. He's been really solid, and it has gone overlooked because of how terrible Phoenix is. Also, a big guy dunking or hitting a 6 foot hook shot isn't as clip worthy as Luka hitting a step back three or doing something dorky/fun. Nobody watched Suns games and nobody sees highlights of Ayton getting a rebound or doing a dunk.

Ayton has been pretty lost defensively. Most rookies are. But Ayton looks even worse because the guys on the perimeter are saloon doors. He also could be better on offense with another playmaker. There are a lot of games he doesn't get nearly as many touches as he should. I'd have never had him as ROY favorite.

Luka is nuts to watch in person. He's just so damn smooth, you assume anything he puts up is going in.

Jokic on the other hand dude has to be the derpiest superstar ever.
