Cancellara, who was in yellow then, held back the whole peleton and they didnt race at all, so Saxo Bank has been given their break for the Tour.

That wasn't a "break" that was a protest. And the only riders hurt by that were the sprint contenders, particularly Hushovd. It had no effect over the GC. Saxo Bank did not benefit from the neutralization.

After Schleck got back and was climbing like a man posessed he cut the gap down to 13 seconds. The fact is he still had the yellow jersey but he lost it in the descent. Contador gained 25 seconds when Schleck was supposed to be the one taking some risks coming down.

Not to mention Saxo did not have a great strategy for the climb. Schleck couldnt get help since he had pulled away from his teammates.

The next few stages should be high drama.

Shleck was going to probably gain a few seconds on coni yesterday..he flat out caught him napping. The only one who was paying attention and went with him was Vino..and he pulled back immediately when he saw his chain tangle. Conti didnt pass until several seconds later once he finally realized Shleck had made a move.

Conti claimed he 'didnt know until later' which is bullshite..team car had that info into his ear almost as soon as it happened. Conti is afraid of Shleck because he's not going away and seems ready to attack so he's grabbed time so he won't have to sweat it in the TT later this week.

Conti is probably going to win but that was a bitch move. Those people who are defending him..karma is a bitch. If he flats out on the tourmalet tomorrow, you think shleck should take off and leave him?

TdF has always been about the strongest facing off in a fair fight. If Conti thinks he has to capitalize on an opponent's misfortune, that speaks volumes about that little bitch.

I agree with your post completely. It was obvious Contador had to see it. Hell it looked like it even gave him extra energy knowing that his biggest rival was down and it was his chance to skeez some time. He started riding as hard as he could continually looking back to make sure Andy was catching up. Then he has the gall to lie about it. I really hope Andy is able to ride the TT of his life.

Contador benefited by be able to follow Sanchez, a great descender, and work with a group. It is much easier to descend when you can follow someone. Schleck only had one guy with him and Schleck was doing most the work.
