i've been rooting for LSU for years. Long, long before I even applied to FSU. I'll always root for LSU before FSU.

Hold your Horses Cowboy. I've always followed UNC Basketball, but grew up in BR, tailigaiting on Saturday's, and have been proudly rocking the purple and gold shades since i was born.
But here is the thing, about this game.....
I want LSU to win. I do. We got screwed with an 8 seed. But to act an arse towards UNC fans is ridiculous. Think about it....it's pretty much like challenging Kobe/MJ/Lebron or any baskebetball legend in H-O-R-S-E getting owned then hating them and talking shite about them.
What's the point, take it like a man, move on, and realize that yeh you lost, but you just lost to a great, storied, timeless, legend, and hold your chin up.

i pay money to go to this second institution, way more than i did for lsu, i think i have the right to be a fan of this school

what in the frick are you talking about? I'm simply talking about how you are likely a douche for being a bandwagon UNC fan. Seriously other than them being good when you were young what possible reason could you have for being a fan?

Ohhh, I don't know how about how it's an outstanding university that has had some of the greatest players to ever play the game wear the baby blue and white jerseys.
How can you be a sports fan and not have some admiration for what that school has done for the game of basketball?

I think most of the UNC/Duke fans on this site would cheer for LSU over their other team although I guess we will see tomorrow evening.
Still, I am a little surprised by how many people have strong opinions on the Duke/UNC rivalry on this board.

WTF does that have to do with anything? I'm not concerned about that, at all. Who cares what they think? I respect the university for what it has given the game of basketball and don't care of their opinion of LSU.
