And your point? They won five titles in that window, and still beat the piss out of your Rockets. I would say that's a damn good window.

Meanwhile, barring any injury, it doesn't matter if the Rockets' window is open, they aren't overthrowing GSW any time soon even if they add Paul and Melo

Did we ever comment on the 5 titles? No. we couldn't care less about them. We are concerned with the current situation.

Truth be told I would rather be a fan of CC over the last twenty years and not have titles and have some likeable guys on my team than to be a Spurs fan and have to act like i liked some of the players that the Spurs have trotted out there lately.

I like what Utah did this offseason besides obviously losing Hayward. Their defense is going to be so nasty. Udoh is going to be an underrated pickup as a role player. ISO Joe might have to score 40 ppg though.

Yeah it looks like Utah is going all-in on defense first, which is something Quin Snyder has been pushing. I like it. I just hope we get enough transition baskets off the defense to offset the lack of offensive scoring. Jerebko is another great add.

Sources: The San Antonio Spurs have renounced guard Jonathon Simmons, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Must have someone else lined up. gotta be a guard. Bottom 5 guard play on this team.

This guy Is a limited player who the Spurs made into somewhat of a contributor. Wouldn't expect much outta him somewhere else. Prob overrated due to a few highlight reel plays/athletcism.

Spurs titles don't mean anything to me. At all. That's why you never see me comment on them. WHen we talk about the Spurs we only talk about the current version. We have the utmost respect for teams who have won nba titles. But when talking about the team today... it means nothing. they have a winning culture yea but you gotta have the players to win titles. They aren't even close when it comes to personnel.

No, he's always this dumb when it comes to Houston.

I can't refer to them as CC really since they haven't done anything in their current window. They might have been CC a quarter century ago, but we're focused on the current situation, so you can't be CC when you get embarrassed in the playoffs

So we will never see you mention the Rockets titles from 25 years ago ever again huh?

But you still refer to Houston as CC, a name they were called 25 years ago. Nothing hypocritical about that

Are we taking about franchises as a whole?

Or the current team?

When I talk about the Spurs I only talk about the current team.

When CC is brought up we discuss both the current team AND the franchise as a whole.

When we talking about this years team the prior titles mean nothing.

When we talking about the franchise as a whole the titles ARE worth mentioning.

This should be common sense. Bunch.

There are no inconsistencies when it comes to my posting. No matter how hard the others try to find some I am always able to clear it all up pretty easily.

If the Spurs make it that far you'll see it next season. Would've happened last season if not for what happened to James.

Never said you were inconsistent. But today, you're locked in the zone, got the eye on the prize. It's almost Game 6 WC Semis Jamesesque. A beauty to behold.
