No idea. Why don’t you let everyone know what your big gotcha is lol
Posted on 7/21/25 at 6:45 pm to TackySweater
It’s just a joke because he was an owner that was getting arrested constantly

Good question.
Curious if Robert Kraft collected a paycheck with charges of soliciting a prostitute hanging over him

Would Jerry Jones behavior the last few decades warrant withholding his pay for conduct detrimental to the team (his role as a GM) or statements made that undermine the public's respect for the Club?

something called Labor law
if contracts dont matter, let's strip these owners of their payout when they get arrested too like Robert Kraft and Irsay

Idk but nfl owners are the biggest collection of dickheads in the world. Especially Brown, who founded nothing, isn’t a businessman, and did nothing but be Paul Browns son

Isn't the owner saying the player would have to pay back money they had already given him? Has that ever happened?
Didn't all of Ricky Williams' pot suspensions cost him a big part of his salary? Was he ever made to pay money back?

Contracts do matter. The exact point of this whole situation is because contracts matter.

Did they sign a contract saying they lose future wages if they get arrested? Feel like you missed the whole point of this thread considering its about how much contracts matter.

No I don't think so. He's saying if they go to jail week 2 then they don't get paid from week 2 until they play again (if they play again). What the agent wants is to only void the remaining year for the season of the alleged arrest and not void future years/ guaranteed money on the contract.

Or if they say something the owner/team doesnt like.
You guys keep using arrest as the example but the contract says anything the team feels like isnt good.

Why are they so worried about Shemar and no other team has this clause in their contracts? The other 30 owners should think about taking back the Bengals franchise. It’s clear they don’t have the money to compete in the NFL going forward, almost to a point where it will damage the shield.

OMG, they sold stadium naming rights? Like 29 other teams did previously before them? Free money.
You know there is a salary cap?
They signed both Chase and Tee which nobody thought was possible. Now the D needs to improve for Burrow.
They went to a superbowl and should have gone to 2 in the last 5 years….

Good way to improve the D is not signing your first round pick....
Also this dude has owned the team since the 80s and didnt have a playoff win until borrow showed up....
He ran off Carson Palmer by trying to play lowball as well.
