And they probably aren't catching Memphis either

Less likely than catching NOLA, but not impossible..esp if GState holds on tonight.

We really needed a win tonight. Memphis and NOLA losing tonight would certainly help our fading cause.

Yea sure did. Both teams losing would definitely keep us in it.. Hopefully the Spurs sit Parker, Ginobili and of course Duncan Fri night.

Hornets own the tiebreaker, so we're essentially an extra game up.

this

and Roy is no longer a top 10 sg. preseason I would have ranked him 3rd but he will never be the same player again. It's sad.

Kevin Martin doesn't need to dish out assists or grab a ton of boards to be a top sg. He was on pace to be the first player in league history to lead the league in 3's and ft's made. Not sure if he's still on pace to do that. If he's not top 5, he's pretty close.

Turner is stuck in a jam with the Sixers rotation, loaded with perimeter players and Collins is notorious for not playing young players. He struggled early, but started to play better, already a really good defensive player.

I love me some Eric Gordon. Guy is short, but he has a 6'7 wingspan I believe and plays some tough defense, him and Blake are going to be great together until one inevitably leaves.

What about Rose?

I want to say he is more of a SG than a PG.

Except for the number of shots he takes, there is no reason to think that Rose is a SG.

Nah, I just posted the top 5 PERs after Wade and Kobe. Tony Allen in the top 5 was pretty surprising

What is the difference between him and Ellis? He isn't an elite PG because he doesn't focus on distributing the ball or have a fantastic ast/to ratio.

I guess I was just saying put him there because he is a scorer and not a distributor.

He is also similar to Wade.

What?

Ellis doesn't play the point for his team, Curry does.

The entire idea of positions in the NBA are rather pointless nowadays. It's becoming obsolete.

Lebron is infinitely more of a PG to his team than Mike Bibby is. Bibby doesn't facilitate any plays or really do anything that your traditional PG does.

Even comparing Rose or Kobe or or Lebron, when you break it down, they're virtually doing the same thing with most of there uses. It's mostly facilitating a play with an iso on the perimeter, either taking a jumper or driving for a shot in the lane or kick out.

They're all not much different.
