Cam newton and Lamar Jackson should be on their too

Remember, active players will climb up the rankings as their careers progress. Currently, Cam Newton ranks #47 all-time. Lamar Jackson, after starting only 2 full seasons, is already up to #55.

These guys would be ranked higher if I weighted rushing yds more. But you don't need to be a great rusher to be a great QB (Marino, Brees and P.Manning all averaged less than 3 yds/gm). Certainly the league is moving in the direction of the more mobile QB. I love it. Maybe I'll weight rushing yds more in future rankings.

TheRouxGuru,
I listed the factors in a previous post.
To keep this answer brief, I can tell you I ranked All-Pro and All-Decade awards, career passer rating, Seasons w/ a Top 10 passer rating, 4th Quarter Comebacks relatively high.

Moon #30 (did you bother to read the original list?)
Cunningham #44
McNabb #51

I think Cunningham deserves Hall of Fame consideration. He was a trailblazer.

FYI, here are the black QBs on the list and their ranking:
#26 - Russell Wilson
#30 - Warren Moon
#31 - Patrick Mahomes
#44 - Randall Cunnigham
#47 - Cam Newton
#51 - Donovan McNabb
#55 - Lamar Jackson
#56 - Deshaun Watson
#67 - Steve McNair
#73 - Dak Prescott
#81 - Daunte Culpepper
#88 - Michael Vick
#116 - Colin Kaepernick
#128 - Jameis Winston
#129 - David Garrard
#130 - Tyrod Taylor
#132 - Robert Griffin III
#133 - Teddy Bridgewater
#137 - Kyler Murray
#147 - Jeff Blake
#148 - Aaron Brooks
#153 - Doug Williams
#166 - Vince Young
#173 - James Harris
#175 - Kordell Stewart

The young guys (Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Prescott and Murray) are gaining ground quickly! That's great for the NFL!

OK... But MY list is from what I saw them do ON THE FIELD.... Stats aside... This about how each played based on the EYE TEST... IF you took the time to WATCH these QBS LIVE as it was going on you would be amazed at how much your list would change... Not sure how old you are but its a good point... Im not talking about NFL films highlights....

Elway has his detractors, but you always thought Denver had a chance when Elway was in the game.

Moon is one of the ultimate what-ifs. If he had gone straight to the NFL instead of all those years in the Canadian football league..

I can dig alot of that list, as I believe Young and Staubach tend to usually be undervalued in historical QB rankings. Not sure about Jim Kelly in Top 10, though.

As for Montana over Brady, as much as I'd like to say it being I grew up a huge Montana fan, what Brady has accomplished in both individual stats (with rotating in and out of receivers) and post season success is crazy.

Overall like your Top 10, though.

I hate stupid fricks like you. OP generated a ranking based on criteria and weight given to each criteria and opened it up for discussion. No need to be an arse.
