What's his pay going to be compared to Tenner? He was making good money at Tennessee right? MLB seems like a hell of a lot longer season but I really don't know the work load for a college coach?

Was making $3 million a year in Knoxville. Will be making $3.5 with the Giants.

Cost of living in SF vs Knoxville is enormous. I hope he got a housing stipend on top of the salary. Likely live in a condo and keep his place in TN.

Pretty heavy, considering they're basically the GM and manager in one. Always recruiting and working the boosters for NIL money. Plus dealing with college kids and their college kid problems. MLB managers have less to worry about day to day.
