He was unplayable with Westbrook. Will be Known as “can’t play kanter” from now on bc of how the combo of him and Russ on the floor at the same time was hopeless v hardwn.

2020 first round draft pick from Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City's 2020 1st round pick to Philadelphia (via Philadelphia to Orlando) protected for selections 1-20; if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Oklahoma City will instead convey its 2022 2nd round pick and 2023 2nd round pick to Philadelphia [Oklahoma City-Philadelphia, 11/1/2016; Orlando-Philadelphia, 6/22/2017; Orlando-Philadelphia, 2/7/2019]

Either the Pelicans are fricking stupid (highly possible) or the league is forcing them to play him. Pelicans have looked competent the past week, this isn't smart.

Sources: Despite Pelicans concerns about its prized asset possibly getting injured and losing value on trade market, league office had concerns about Pels forcing a healthy star to sit out rest of season. Still, Pels decided they wanted him back on floor, which Davis wanted too.
