Falcons select Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma.

Good lord they torpedoed their draft standing with that pointless win streak at the end of the season. If the draft board actually plays out this way, I would want to Falcons to trade down.

organizations can try, but there is no tanking in the nfl. guys are too competitive and alpha and a promise for next season with the same organization isnt really a luxury most players have.

Blank fricked up by not making a decision midseason on Quinn and Dimitroff. Those two felt like they had to go all out to win pointless games to save their jobs. That's why they didn't trade Freeman or Hooper and it's why they're picking 16th instead of 3rd.

I looked really hard at CJ Henderson, but I feel like he gets lost more often then I’d like looking in the backfield, and as more and more mobile QBs come to fruition in the NFL, I’m not sure just how good he’s going to be.

Love his speed, and think he has good hips which is really important in a DB. But also think he has some bust potential and wasn’t sure if the high upside was worth it.

With the 19th pick the Las Vegas Raiders select CJ Henderson of Florida. I feel like if this first round plays out like this the raiders would be very happy to get one of the 3 Wr’s and arguably the second best CB.

the cowboys went into last year with what felt like a complete(ish) roster. there are some gaping holes all over.

need wr, center, tight end
need cb, pass rusher, lb for van der glass, safety, long term dt

we dont really have long term answers at dt (although i am excited about poe and mccoy signings), i seen where they take the auburn dt

need a pass rusher because tank is inconsistent and cant beat double teams often

aaron rodgers could go 49/50 vs the current secondary

Denver in real life might take Henderson. Denver is definitely taking 2 WR and 2 CB by pick 118 in my opinion.

I considered him for the Falcons, but I'd much rather address front seven in the first round and target Damon Arnette or Bryce Hall in the second round. Henderson is overrated, IMO.

I would have taken Kinlaw if he dropped. Think we’ll address DB, C, TE later in the draft. Just didn’t love the value at 17 for any of the DBs.

with the 20th pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select:

Justin Jefferson WR, LSU

I was locked in on Henderson (although I think he goes top 15 on draft day) and I might’ve even gone QB if Love or Herbert we’re available.

How do you make your QB better? Surround him with playmakers. The Jags are all in on Minshew - adding the best WR in the draft only makes him and the offense better. He teams up with DJ Chark to make up one of the best dynamic young duos.

I do think they go OT (Willis or Thomas) next week at 9 but 20 will be a toss up.

I think the Cowboys go Defense Line or OL. I feel it’s really going to be Espana from Iowa

Hopefully Proche falls until the 2nd and that he gets to show the other Rooks where to go in the city.

With the 21st pick of the MSB NFL draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select:

Xavier McKinney S, Alabama

Xavier McKinney can be a game changing defender for an NFL defense. With plus tackling skills in space, strong football IQ and a knack for hunting the football in all phases, McKinney projects as a difference maker and explosive play creator. McKinney's versatility should keep him on the field at all times and he's shown ability to thrive as a deep third or half safety, in the nickel, blitzing as a pressure player, keying the run and more. Do it all defender and plug/play starter.

The Eagles plugged a major hole at CB this off-season by acquiring Slay. However, with the departure of Jenkins the Eagles need an immediate starter at safety. With no remaining top WRs at this pick, the Eagles decide to get an immediate starter on defense and will take a WR on day two.

Draft picks in the secondary take about 2-3 years to contribute and at that point they're asking for an extension.
