The Redskins are taking Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, University of Georgia.

I’m not saying this is the wrong choice, but this is the wrong fricking choice.

So are you saying it is the best fit, best value and believe that is who is going to be selected?

I don't think he goes in the top 5. So it seems like a reach. It is a huge need no doubt and I wouldn't be that upset. But if that is who they want, they can move down, add assets and still get him..

With the 12th pick of the draft the Las Vegas Raiders, against the wishes of the ghost of Al Davis, select Jerry Jeudy WR out of Alabama.

Had 4 different thoughts going through my head here. In the end narrowed it down to either Jeudy or Ruggs. Heart said Ruggs but my head said Jeudy. Also felt going WR(biggest position of need) here would leave me with multiple options at 19.

but everything I’ve read Thomas is the 4th best OL in this draft

Have things changed in the last two weeks. Every mock I've seen and everything I've read has him at 1a or 1b with Wirfs.

I’ll probably be a little late on my pick tomorrow morning if everyone makes their picks quickly. But I’ll do my best to be up early.

The last few kicks I’ve seen and from listening to the McShay and Kiper draft podcast have Willis bechton 1 and 2, wirfs at 3, Thomas as a mid to late 1st round pick as the 4th tackle.

I think it’s reasonable to have any of them 1. Thomas isn’t the athlete that the other 3 are, makes sense he’d lose hype once they stop playing actual football.

The only thing that isn’t reasonable is the Dolphins taking a WR at 5

They all have some pros and cons. I don’t think Thomas is the best though. I think either Wirfs or Wills is the best, but they’re very different so either could work

Question, is this just a first round mock or are we doing 7?

I did my pick based on who I would pick if I were their gm and had to make a pick at that spot. Everyone knows they are foolishly taking Young, but I don’t have to make that mistake in a mock draft that means nothing.

And yes I ideally would have traded down, picked him and probably grabbed another front 7 piece.

You don’t sign Brady to bridge the gap to your future. You sign Brady to win now and the Bucs have holes that they need to fill if they want to help Brady out and win now. Take a QB in a later round if you want to develop a guy for the future, but even still - if I’m the Bucs I’m only drafting guys that I think can play or help us in the next 2 years

I actually don’t hate this pick. How long is the Brady deal? 2 years? That’s two years to groom Herbert under one of the greatest leaders and an incredible role model. And you get the young guy for cheap for 4-5 years.

I may have gone elsewhere but this isn’t a horrible pick
