Lions are setting their fans up for heartbreak. A quarter of the way through the season, the Bears are awful as we all expected, Vikings are surprisingly 0-3. Packers without Rodgers were a question mark but you just beat them convincingly to take the sole lead of the division and you've beaten the Chiefs in Arrowhead this year too.

Somehow, they will find a way to disappoint by season's end and miss the playoffs. I feel it in my plums.

They're on a 3 game winning streak vs GB after this one.

They've usually been close games, they need to humiliate them in their stadium.

What exactly do you see from the Packers, Vikings, or Bears that suggests one of them will win the division?

Missing the playoffs isn’t how the Lions disappoint their fans. It’s never winning a playoff game, and getting knocked out in the Wildcard round.

Never been to a Super Bowl
One NFC Championship game appearance (1992)
One single playoff win in the Super Bowl era (1992)
Zero playoff wins in 31 years
Never won the NFC North
Last won a division title in 1992 when it was the NFC Central.
ONE frickING PLAYOFF WIN IN THE SUPER BOWL ERA

There has not been an NFL team that has had it worse in the Super Bowl era than the Detroit Lions. No other way to put it.

The Lions are 11-3 since their 1-6 start going back to last season. Not like putting a few wins together is some recent thing.

Their schedule is soft. Barring injury no reason to assume a letdown.
