Only needed three super teams to do it.

I mean WTF is this point? You act like he is the "only" piece that went to teams when he won.

Bosh and Allen went to Miami when he went
AD went to LA this season to help them win
Love went to Cleveland

Again, he's absolutely incredible and I can celebrate him for being the best of the last 20 years minimum. But to say he's better because he won less titles but won with more teams is just a strange nuanced argument

Why because he couldn't have the Cleveland franchise built around him to win more than 1? Instead has to buy them by switching teams. The real goat had 2 separate teams with the same franchise built around him and won 3 straight twice and would have 8 without retiring in his peak. And btw has 6 mvps and built the brand, and owns a portion of, that gives LeBron his platform. Lebron essentially works for the goat. Say his name, Micheal Jordan

This is embarassing

Lebron being #2 behind MJ does not take away from his legacy. No shame in being behind MJ.

Does this mean anything?

I mean, MJ and LJ are interchangeable in the GOAT argument, but I don’t see how this moves anything either way.

It isn’t as if those teams remained static and bad when he arrived.

They built a super team in Miami and he has Anthony Davis with the Lakers.

I mean Horry won titles with 3 different teams too,

Hell he's won almost twice as many titles as Lebron, but there's no world where anyone would try and say with a straight face he's better than MJ

Exactly.

This stat makes no sense as a reason to put him above MJ.

True, and for those who put Lebron #2, there's no shame in being behind Lebron.

No.

I probably did do that, but I don’t remember.

3 or more Finals MVPs, the list is something like:

- Shaq - all with Phil and the Lakers
- Duncan - all with Pop and the Spurs
- Magic - all with Lakers and Riley
Jordan - All with Bulls and Phil
Lebron - Lakers/Cavs/Heat with Spo, Vogel, and Lue

If this portion doesn't give a slight edge to Lebron, then what are we doing... rough crowd.

Pre-Covid shutdown.

Clearly received a boost from the shutdowns.

Have you seen this roster? The Lakers aren’t a super team

See this is a better argument to me. However, you could kind of say MJ did it with a completely different cast outside of Pippen on the court. Phil was there for all 6.

As I said, i will never discount LBJ in his accomplishments, but I would rather just let it be that and celebrate players
