If it were possible for the media to put race aside, it would have done so.

Well good for them. I’d say it’s about time. It only took 150 years for someone/somewhere to offer preferential treatment after blacks being shite on for so long. I don’t wan to hear shite about other programs. Its crumbs in the grand scheme of things.

This dude believes on reparations lol

Her job is to procure attention. The irony is that the ones mostly giving her the attention she craves are the ones bitching about her looking for attention.

The confusion here is off the charts lol

you must be missing something.

The OP is about Angel Reese showing up to the game like it's fashion week and making twerking videos and then not performing well on the court.

Her showing up like it's fashion week and posting social media videos is how she earns the majority of her income.

It would be like saying Livvy Dunne needs to prioritize gymnastics.

It's so obvious yet they don't get it.

Why would the media call out Angel Reese's priorities when she clearly has them in line? Basketball is a side job.

But it shouldn’t even be a thing whether you want to talk about it or not.

ESPN is a private company and should be able to do whatever they want so long as it isn't breaking the law.

If public funds are involved, things should be strictly merit-based IMO.

You will never see this board accusing her of being a skank. Even showing her bare arse. It’s all good with her.

I’ll give you one guess why.

Agree. But it’s ok to call out racist practices even if they don’t break the law lol

Is it racist if they truly believe they are trying to help out what they think is an underserved community?

I'm not advocating for or against those things, and I find that some programs, both public and private, have probably outlived their usefulness and even create the opposite perception they are trying for.

How about that Tacky, we may very well mostly agree on something

I like Red Lobster. I mean if you order the right thing--don't get too fancy you can get an okay seafood meal. I mean nothing beats local Louisiana seafood but hey when you're not in the middle of the country it's hard to find good seafood.

Steven A Smith and a lotta the talking heads at ESPN are definitely racist.

it's crazy that people still watch.

I sure as hell haven't in years. I can't imagine why anyone would give a shite what they have to say. the NBA finals game 1 half time show I swapped channels immediately.

Some are, some are trying to gin up numbers, some have a different perspective than you or I, so they are just parroting what they have been taught.

I find it humorous that people say this, but then have a strong opinion on the thing they say they don't watch.

When they are talking about things in a sport they have actively participated in, I sometimes find it interesting. When they get political, I tune it out.

I find it hard to watch the NBA nowadays. It just doesn't interest me like it once did. I check the scores and stats the next day if I think about it or if it comes up in conversation.
