Tebow is a terrible quarterback. There is no way around that fact.

I think you are confusing passer with quarterback. There is more to quarterbacking than throwing a spiral.

Tebow rush-oriented Broncos offense > Orton pass-oriented Broncos offense

We are going to get embarrassed on NFL Network tonight

the new teboption offense has set the NFL back the past couple weeks. we may see the worst QB performance of the modern era tonight if the Jets' D is up to it

Miami does have the #9 rushing defense....
Kansas City is #25
Oakland is is #24
Jets are #15

this is going by total yards, looking at YPG
Miami #10
KC #26
Oakland #25
Jets #15

fricking John Skelton is 2-0 as a starter this season. Is he now a "winner"?

Pretty much. Doesn't mean he is a great QB. JJ almost had the most wins as a LSU QB and he isn't very good.

and they did come back at them by completely changing up their offense and going spread at the end

Calling audibles and running can be important. I prefer a passing QB myself.

But what if the 15% that is not comprised of passing is full of Tebow-awesomeness????

If anybody can handoff, then why did the Broncos suck for two seasons without Tebow at quarterback, and now with Tebow taking snaps their running game is all of the sudden good enough to chew up the entire game vs the Chiefs and Raiders?

I am in no way a Broncos fan, but I'll be pulling for them hard tonight so the talking heads continue to be baffled and embarrassed for predicting that the team can't win with him playing QB.

And I dislike that guy in NY with the foot fetish.

I wish the Broncos had traded up to grab Cam Newton. We have no options at QB. Quinn, Orton, and Tebow all suck.

most of that 15% is mental stuff, which tebow sucks at worse than throwing

that's a limited sample of 2 mediocre-bad teams

and, to be perfectly honest, the broncos ARE throwing something out there that is new and different. NFL teams have had 2 weeks to adjust to this offense

I thought Quinn would have been better than he is. Orton was decent last year

hey are averaging more yards, less turnovers, and controlling the ball longer with Tebow leading offense.

What happens to the numbers if you subtract the approx. 200 yards of garbage-time offense they had in the Detroit game?

The honeymoon will be over once the league adjusts...I'm surprised it hasn't happened already.

+1

Also, I'm furious that my two morning options for the radio are a sucky Fox Sports Zak and Jack show or the ESPN NY Jets talk/Mike and Mike show.

I agree that teams will adjust and Im curious to see if it keeps working. However I think all the talking heads saying the broncos are winning "in spite of tebow" are idiots because if anything they have won those games because of him. Will it continue probably not but it might. That doesnt change the fact that they have gone 3-1 in large part due to changing to tebow's strengths not in spite of tebow. I honestly cant stand tebow. I think he very much sought attention and brought attention to himself in college when with everything the he professed he should have done the opposite. McCoy and Bradford had similar beliefs and stories but because they didnt seek the spotlight they were looked over. However I do think just like it was "the cool thing" to like tebow in college its gone to the opposite and he doesnt deserve the crap hes been getting.

yes. this is true. throwing out a new offense nobody has gamefilm of the broncos running (which happens to be his strength) IS a difference that has been positive. and that difference IS because of tebow

but, there are 2 comments

1. it will almost certainly be scheme as the season goes on

2. they have played a relatively weak schedule in those 4 games (and lost to the only good team they played)

What's interesting is that Vick's passing ability was criticized MUCH more harshly than Tebow's,

Not even close.
