He did have this incident. He didn't assess himself a penalty at the time and it's hard to imagine he didn't see the ball move.

Are you in the “Tiger is a cheater” club because of that incident?

I've seen yall do this passive battle across a bunch of threads.

Tiger didn't say he intentionally cheated like you claim. Tiger didn't get falsely accused of breaking a rule like OP claims.

Yall are both taking semantic liberties and dancing around the point for some reason.

He intentionally dropped where he dropped. That doesn't mean he cheated. It means he broke a rule. His "admission" is not what you say it is.

Both of y'all are annoying as frick about it. Good day.

I am still trying to wrap my head around how intentionally breaking a rule and playing under the penalties and consequences can be construed as “cheating”

He didn't "cheat" then, and of course he's not a cheater. Clearly he broke a rule. Admitting to it certainly makes it seem like he thought he was OK.

It's absurd to complain about the greatest golfer of all time "cheating" as if it's how he got to that point only that way. Best to ignore that kind of shite.

don't believe anything about him cheating but I swear there was a shot once where he hit it in a bushy area where there were people, there was a pause, and then the ball pops out in a good direction. The announcers didn't even say anything. That was 20 years ago and I apparently was the only person to see it.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. It was the PGA back in 2000 when he and Bob May dueled. Tiger hit a ball way off line. It seemed like it took forever to reappear, then it came bounding out down the cart path and as I remember ended up in a good spot for his next shot. Not that he had anything to do with that but it did happen.

Apparently there is a small consensus of people that are in agreement that Tiger is a cheater on the course and has gotten caught and admitted to it but the media has apparently swept it under the rug.

You think some of the media folks he has pissed off over the years wouldn’t have outed him by now? Or jealous tour players? Somebody would’ve made sure the public knew.

All the Tiger haters bitch about the camera always being on him...how could he get away with cheating? Somewhere there is video of every professional shot he has ever taken. He would’ve been exposed by now

I’m sorry I sure don’t. That’s why I’m asking.

Other than that lunatic claiming Tiger is a cheater because of a rule infraction and him telling me that if I were to Google “Tiger Woods rule infractions” id see for myself that Tiger is the cheater he’s claiming him to be. I can’t find anything of substance

I’ve never heard anything either, thought maybe I was missing something.

I’m not claiming anything. I am just asking if what I was told was accurate

However, I appreciate your contribution to this thread. Very informative

Yeah I'm with in the no cheating category

Maybe some small rule infraction but not like a Judge Smails move from Caddy Shack

Well there is no doubt about that part of it.

I never claimed he said he intentionally cheated. It was to his advantage to drop it where he dropped it. It was also against the rules. He did it. Was called on it and was penalized.

Pretty straight forward.

In the other incident about the ball moving, it was caught on video. He didn't think it moved. Virtually everyone else who has seen it says it did. Many of his fellow pros. They made oscillate jokes about it. He looked at it on video and still denied it. The official said it moved and penalized him.

Tgrcount08 is just arguing to argue. It is what he does. I'm arguing because I'm correct.

Just google it. I'm done.

Tgrbitch08 is a liar and pussy.

Intent is a pretty key element to cheating.

Yes. His mistake was telling why he dropped incorrectly. It's not JUST that he dropped incorrectly. He dropped back 2 more yards for an advantage, on purpose.

If you can't see the difference, I don't know what else to say.

Good night.

08, the bet offer stands. Last post in yesterday's lunch thread.
