Tiger's response is great.

Some people have class, and some people don't.

Jack Nicklaus would have reached out to Sergio and found some kind of resolution behind closed doors. Mariano Rivera would have helped to reconcile the relationship behind closed doors.

It has never crossed Tiger Woods mind that he should try to mend the relationship in some way. A coulple of others that would act like Tiger are Roger Clemens and Kobe Bryant.

As I said, some people have class, some don't. Being great at sports doesn't make you a great person. Earl Woods taught Tiger how to be a great golfer and competitor, but he also taught him how to be a Grade A Arsehole.

I also admit that Sergio needs to shut up. He doesn't have to throw flames on the fire either. Sergio said his peace after the round on Saturday, now he needs to let it go. Both are at fault here.

Like I've said before, people like who they want to like.

The same thing Tiger gets grief about, Michael Jordan is praised for.

Oh no doubt...He is dancing in a canoe with Colin Montgomerie in choppy waters right here...They gonna get wet. Bear the load on the course a few times and then still say nothing. Having said that, I struggle keeping my mouth shut too...especially when asked about something.

Michael Jordan would have used this against Sergio and dropped a "double nickle" on him the next time they played, but Jordan would not have let it play out in the media like Tiger has. Jordan was very media savy, and would have handled this in the press in a different manner. Has Tiger said anything really derrogatory, no. Has Tiger said anything to defuse the story, no.

tiger was asked about it in a press conference and gave a one word answer. don't really know how that is letting it play out.

How is the media asking questions Tiger fault? What should he do? Tell them to stop asking about it? Then who comes off as the bitch?

yeah tiger really loves for the media to run with stories about him. guess you haven't followed tiger for too long. tiger would like nothing more than to never be asked about sergio garcia again. he gives 0 fricks about sergio.

Then there would've been about 50 articles over-analyzing what he said.

He sure doesn't mind when they say positive things about him..or ask about his 'golf school' or his 'foundation' (do some research and look into how the East coast one is coming along and look into the $ raised for it)...

No, I have followed him FOR TOO long and can see past his golf game at what a shitty human being he is.

then shut it down by saying ahead of time..."I will NOT be answering questions about this silliness." Do you honestly think they would still ask him? Have you noticed any questions about his infidelities or divorce? Know why?
