This just seems like the Heat's year. After the adversity they fought thru with Bosh out in the Indy and Boston series and now this 2-1 lead. LeBron has been anything but passive so far this finals. They only need two more wins on their home floor. They likely won't shoot the ball as terribly as they did tonight so I really believe they win in 5

I would assume that the NBA wants to avoid stops in the game for reviews as much as possible. It could become a negative for teams trying to take it off on a fast break.

I am not saying it is a good thing I just think they are afraid of it hurting the game more than helping it.

The Thunder are going to have to play a lot better than they did tonight if they want the series to get back to OKC. Tonight was the Heat's worst shooting night of the entire season by far, not even close.

Game may have played out differently had Durant not been in foul trouble, but it is what it is

Thunder's worst FT shooting, and worst 4th Q that I recall.

There's a alot of what ifs resulting from every game, so I don't look at them too closely. Yeah, the Heat shot terrible, but you could bring up many of the same types of things for the Thunder. For example, KD missing half of the 3rd due to fouls, OKC stupidly fouling 3 point shots, bad FT shooting while Miami was great from the line, etc.

But I guess we shall see. I hate the 2-3-2 format just for the Finals btw.

The FT shooting may have been flukish, but the 4th quarter was dominated by both defenses. I don't know if I'd call that an aberration. At least not on par with the Heat shooting less than 10% on jumpers when their previous season worst was 23% IIRC. And they were bricking open looks for the most part

I'm not sure what you mean? I took Russell out and put him right back in like I normally do"

Also, Fisher played 28 minutes and Ibaka 22.

Yikes.

Getting fouled on 2 3pt attempts in the right corner is definitely an aberration.

Brooks has coached some of the best games I've ever seen a coach have this postseason and conversely has coached some of the worst game I've ever seen a coach have. Such a weird deal.

Happens. Young coach. He's going to have growing pains just like everyone else.

The similarities between Brooks and Spoelstra are very apparent, in my opinion.

Those were terrible plays. Particularly the Ibaka foul on Battier

Haha of course Crawford doesn't give a shite. frick him. Knew this game was over when I saw he was reffing. Lebron is finally showing up in the fourth though. I think Thunder take game 4.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game tonight. I'm assuming the refs sucked?

Spo should be fined for that, IMO.

(Not saying it had any impact on the shot, but coaches should be punished for entering the court during play.)

He should be suspended a game for it. If players get a game for leaving the bench then a coach should too.
