re: This should not even be a debate. Alabama and Miami in, Notre Dame out

Alabama and Miami should both clearly be in. Miami didn’t play for their CCG because of their retarded conference tiebreakers even though they were clearly the best team in that conference from wire to wire.
Alabama should be in because they are clearly a top 12 team and only have a 3rd loss because they were forced to replay an opponent they already beat (a conference champion at that) because of retarded tie breaker rules. If it were Aggie or Ole Miss in the SECCG and they came out with a loss no one would be arguing that they still earned the playoffs.
You know who doesn’t have to ever worry about CCGs because they’ve never played in one and never will with their patchwork cherry picked cucked out schedule? SoMuch Lame.
Join a conference or you don’t get to participate in the playoffs. No more pussy privilege for the Epstein Islanders of Northwest Indiana.

Let me preface my statement by saying, frick Alabama and they have no business in the playoffs

What about the other 2?

Notre Dame loses to the only two teams with a pulse they played all year, loses head to head to Miami, sits at home doing nothing yesterday as well, and they’re more deserving? Make that make sense
Posted on 12/7/25 at 9:44 am to DaleGribblesMower
Yes they are more deserving.

If the committee was serious (they're not), Notre Dame (frick them always) and Miami are the teams that SHOULD be in. Bama the easy out.
Switch Bama's name with LSU. Do you think LSU would be in under the same scenario? Or even mentioned?

Last week the AP move bama up so if they dropped three places they would still be top 12 LOL

I bet you happily tossed some coins into the collection plate to move those pedo priests around huh? That’s the only way anyone could possibly think ND has any business in a playoff. To be so hopelessly cucked by the catholic “church” that anything associated with it be supported. Ethics, morals, or even just plain old common sense be damned!

I’ve been arguing against the championship game for a long time now.

Bama should be in. They played a real schedule ina real conference and beat Georgia at their place. Do you all have amnesia?
Posted on 12/7/25 at 9:48 am to DaleGribblesMower
Your duly noted hatred is noted. Turn your brothers around instead.

Bama and ND are in simply for TV ratings. Although, the committee did the right thing last year and put SMU in.

I have no amnesia but memories of Alabama getting into the Championship game against LSU cuz it was Bama. Oh My.
They did not belong then either.

If Miami is left out, ACC should do away with conference championship and make highest ranked team team with best record the conference champ to qualify for Auto bid
Posted on 12/7/25 at 9:56 am to WaydownSouth
I think the ACC (and every other conference) will move to two tiebreakers to determine their championship game participants:
1) Head-to-head (if all tied teams played one another)
2) Highest-ranked team in CFP rankings
And with these huge conferences, it would be rare for H2H to be the determining factor.

OP is 100% correct. Its the committees only option. But it wont go over well on this board because derp...derp..screw Alabama..derp..derp

So one good win against Georgia, who beat them by 21 yesterday, means they're an automatic playoff team huh?
When a team has more bad losses than good wins. No. No you're not a playoff team. This is simple.
