He was already the GOAT the Colts let him go. The past couple of seasons were just a bonus and this year's record breaking season was the icing.

His losses in the big games have as much to do with his teammates not showing up as much it is on him erring when trying to carry the team by himself.

He has his ring. So at least he doesn't have the Marino SB monkey on his back. Manning is the greatest and the smartest QB to have played the position of quarterback. His team's flailings have nothing to do with him being the best QB ever.

His postseason stats are not very good. Postseason matters more than the regular season. He is absolutely not the GOAT

Yeah those pick sixes don't hurt him one bit.

The greatest QB to ever play the game doesn't have an 11-12 overall playoff record, as well as one pick six each in his last two Super Bowl appearances.

Peyton has TWICE as many turnovers than TDs in his 3 SB appearances.

You really can't lose the biggest game in football by 5 touchdowns and have it have no effect on your legacy.

He's an all-time great. One of the best five quarterbacks ever. But put him up against a really good defense and his performance plummets worse in comparison to a lot of other great quarterbacks.

Also, I've always felt that Manning doesn't have quite the competitive edge and fire that a lot of other greats have had. Sometimes when things aren't going his way he doesn't show a lot of fight. He's kind of a frontrunner in a way.

In the end, still great. But I'd probably take a few others over him.
