I noticed this board was no where near as busy yesterday talking about the xfl. Last week it was thread after thread. Looks like viewership has tanked after one week. Vince fails again at having a football product. No chance of this league making it past 2 seasons. They will be lucky to have a second season

Why do people want this to fail so badly? There is some good support behind this and the number reflect it. It's a fun league. Is anyone expecting NFL level success? No, but let's be real here...people are watching.

If it fails, it’ll be due to one of the main reasons that other spring football leagues have failed: bad offense. One of the biggest issues for these leagues is getting good offensive linemen.

Why do you desire the league to fail?

The league is providing a place for guys to still get paid get film and have opportunities to make the jump back into the league.

Only some moron or fat no-talent prick would desire something that can only be positive, which seems to have been ran right from the beginning to fail.

I was excited to watch the Dallas team, then they looked just like the Cowboys.

Play good between the 20's, kick a field goal and get beat by touchdowns.

I get enough of that during the NFL season, I doubt I watch today.

I’ve been watching and honestly find it entertaining and love the rules there. I hope it continues to get traction. Football nearly year round would be fantastic. Ready for fantasy XFL to get big!

I watched two football games yesterday. I will watch two today. Is the product as good as NFL? No. But it’s not terrible by any means and the rule changes are pretty awesome. The refs eat a lot of whistles which as long as it’s consistent, I prefer.

Vince has enough money to make sure it gets to Year 2.

I'm sure there will be tweaks before next season, probably to encourage more offense. Everybody needs to settle down a bit.

I read somewhere where three seasons was guaranteed due to the money they already had banked.

And that game last night had a pretty large crowd presence. Also this page only having 7 threads compared to 14 last week doesn’t matter. Last week people were being smart asses and starting a new thread on purpose for every single reason they could think of.

They are getting sponsorship money so I don't even believe it would be that much of a strain.

McMahon is smart and how he has rolled this out was patient from the beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a three-year plan set.

if it gets to year three with enough real time crowds to pay salaries and a tv contract on a medium most people can see, it will make it.
