If that’s not targeting, then they need to get rid of the rule.

Which I’m good with.

The NCAA is so corrupt. As bad as the NFL. Even under review they wouldn’t make the obvious call.

Nobody can explain what targeting is anymore

Targeting calls seem to always favor TV money/ratings darlings though

I hope the rule is scraped or gutted next season because they aren’t even calling in consistently based on their own rules this season

The rule is written horribly but now it’s just ambiguous what it actually is and more get overturned/not called

Lol yet last year when Bama took a blatant cheap shot and target on Daniels, we were told it wasn’t.

I don’t like targeting but if it’s going to be a rule you need to call it and that was a textbook one. Can’t have their cash cow in Texas getting knocked out early though.

Texas always gets calls they want

Heck if they want extra time in a game they get it.

The refs always side with Texass

What does the rule state because there was nothing with the crown and it was just a face on tackle

It’s so hard to know what is or isn’t targeting

Agree. And I want Texas to win. But that was targeting.

No it wasn't.

Their heads met. At full speed, while making a break on the ball, its impossible to avoid head contact.
It was actually textbook, he kept his head up.

Highly doubt the announcers or pundits mention it again.
ASU coach doesn’t seem like a tight-roping, political type, so I hope he brings it up at the press conference.
Cause Texas is going to win.
