Basically what your saying is you would rather take the chance of making it a 2 score game than a one score game if he doesn’t make it? Yea makes sense to me .

It's so funny every time this thread pops up, the guys who get it wrong ALWAYS incorrectly compare missing the 2pt conversion after the 1st TD to having a chance to make it after the 2nd TD.

Cowboys/Falcons 2020. Cowboys went for 2, didn't get it, and then knew they had to score twice. Scored, and got the onside kick and was able to win on a walkoff GW FG. If they had waited for the 2nd time to go for two, they probably don't rush the 2nd TD and go all in on getting the 2PC to tie and lose at the buzzer instead of having a chance to get the ball back

Then you need to know sooner rather than later if you should make attempts to get the ball twice such as an onside kick rather than kicking it away. You wait until the end on the 2 point conversion, you probably have no time to adjust for a miss.
