Melo has been playing some amazing team oriented basketball this year.
Not to mention the two best teams in the leagues are both lead by incredibly UNselfish players. This is probably one of the least me-centric eras of the NBA.

I don't know how you can complain about D in the NBA when you have such interesting schemes being run. Miami in the Lebron days was an amazing defensive team to watch. Same for watch Kawhi and Paul George. I mean you don't have guys getting roughed up and hit hard, but that shite doesn't necessarily mean defensive play is good.

You probably think defense was way tougher back in the 80s just b/c hard fouls and hand checking were allowed even though there were no zone D's, hardly anyone shot 3s worth a shite, and you weren't allowed to double off the ball.
Maybe if you'd watch a little modern ball you'd be able to comprehend the current rules.
