I don't think you were paying attention. Heck PG received some considération for MVP at one point
He did.

And still didn’t come close to the attention that Russ got. Half the narrative around PG bring awesome was it was because Russ had reformed and changed his game to allow teammates to be better.

Russ has absolutely gotten more(way more) attention than PG this year.

You gotta look at it from the POV of a Paul George kinda guy. He’s gonna think he can compete anywhere. No matter where he is. He doesn’t think he needs lebron to win a title. That should be applauded. This super tram fad is dying out. Thanks to guys like dame. lebron was the guy who felt he needed to stack the deck to win. This next crop doesn’t feel the same way. They would rather compete and if they come up short so be it. It’s better than the alternative isn’t it.

Westbrook is a joke. Big numbers but won’t win anything in OKC. Couldn’t be happier to see OKC eliminated.

Nah. LA is a dumpster fire

Both teams are at home right now.

I'd rather be in LA half the year than OKC if I'm going to be on a dumpster fire team going nowhere.

They'd probably have been just as good with PG as OKC is, and he wouldn't have to live in OKC.

Success I'm pro sports starts from the top down and the Lakers are one of the worst run organizations in basketball. The sad part about it is that it should never be the case. With their historical prestige, location, and endless amounts of revenue, they should be able to draw the best talent not only on the court, but in management. Ownership sucks. Their medical staff is
subpar. Unqualified management making irresponsible deals such as trading Zubac from Muscala. There is nothing that leads us to believe PG alone would have lead them to winning and a positive culture change.

No because he actually has a chance to play in the postseason on a consistent basis

You don't think a Lakers team with PG and LeBron could stumble into the playoffs and get embarrassed in the first round?

I'm not saying they'd be world beaters, but his team's ceiling in OKC is first round exit. I feel like that's probably true in LA, but once again, he'd get to live in LA and not OKC.

Russell Westbrook dominated the headlines and attention with this basketball team this year.

False. Before he hurt his shoulder, PG was going to finish top 3 in the MVP.

The narrative was it’s PGs team and Russ is playing poorly.

Watch some basketball.

I know he was. And still, Russ got more attention. No all of it was positive, but he still got more attention.

If he went to the Lakers they would still be playing today.

Absolutely a team with those two could trip and fall into a top 6 seed. What I am saying is that finishing 4-6 in the West may not be worth the hassle of being in a crappy run organization with the added bonus of the LeBron circus. He is probably in a more stable environment from an organizational standpoint in OKC
