Imo Big Cat needs PFT to really break the comedic gold ceiling. The Yak is good but it's not better than Pardon My Take.

I generally like PFT but Big Cat does not need him at all. He regularly gets more than 80k on his Twitch streams playing a college football game from 2014. I agree that he's better with somebody or with a group because he's a good host but it doesn't need to be PFT.

Someone described him as America's roommate and I think that fits.

Completely disagree. I can listen to the Yak everyday with big cat and crew. But Nowadays I only listen to PMT when ever a big sporting event has happened.

Pft is a schtick by schtick guy and everything he does (outside of his Twitter) without big cat is kinda boring

That fricking sucks. I haven't listened today, but will listen later on. I'm guessing pick central is coming back before the Yak? They should just shed a bunch of programs and make the Yak 3 hours.

True, I was a PFT fan before I even knew who Big Cat was but Big Cat is what makes PMT go.

I read something once that Big Cat said he’d do more radio but he’d want Sirius to pay him more. 1 hour Yak must be cost saving

I'm curious to know how the Sirius pay works with some guys. Booger worked multiple channels at one point (ESPN networks, NFL Network, and College Sports Nation before they were ESPNU). Nick Wright was/is a Fox guy, but has a Mad Dog show. And Linda Cohn jumps to Mad Dog once in a while. I just figured the individual network pays the person, not Sirius (other than someone like Stern). But, I have no idea.

I wish Nick's straight steward dad would call in with a vibe. That would be an awesome way to end the 2-hr YAK era.

Yeah I have no idea. With the way Portnoy just ignores the Sirius channel, it must not be a money maker for them.

Nick's straight dad having to sway his hips to counter turbulence is one of the hardest I've laughed in a while.
