Although I was not a fan of that hit Teddy Bridgewater took from Lamarcus Joyner...

Not really that surprising. They have a great defense. Above average team with a pretty easy first half schedule and tough second half schedule. I was expecting no worse than 5-3 at this point because I think they are a 9 or so win team.

Its good to see. They probably need 9 to win a Wild Card, though if Green Bay continues to be a disorganized mob, maybe they can find a way to win at least 1 of the H2H games with GB.

The win over the Rams also helps in the Wild Card chase, as a H2H victory against another team that's likely competing for a WC spot in the NFC.

Every team that just makes the playoffs seems to have one of those games they really regret at the end of the season; that seems a likely candidate for this Vikings team-- a bad beat where they didn't fully utilize AD.

Hopefully Teddy is good to go next week in Oakland. Bridgewater vs Carr is must see football.

They've played the weakest schedule in the league so far, and finish out with the hardest

Worth noting

Its sorta true; the question is whether or not Green Bay is going to figure things out; they are struggling mightily (30th in the league in offense over the past month!), though they may be getting past that with today and the Lions game next week to 'get right'.

Their record is also against less than prime competition, but it also represents a significant portion of the 'toughest remaining schedule'.

they better pull a "Weekend With Bernies" on Bridgewater, because Sean Hill is terrible, and missed kicks by Greg the leg, saved the Vikings.

We'll know whether or not they're serious after they face an ailing Packers team next week.

If they beat a reeling Packers team, it'll give the Vikings a 2 game lead in the division, with only 1 more head to head matchup left-- and they'll still have no divisional losses for the tiebreaker, while Green Bay would have 2.

It is a season-making opportunity next week.
