Yeah. He went for his shots at the end. He's going to be very disappointed in his effort overall, though.

Like the other poster said, Djokovic didn't have near his A-game and I don't think he was ever going to have it this match, and Tsitsipas had a 2 set lead and still couldn't capitalize.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to argue against Djokovic as being the best who has ever done it.

I want him to win Wimbledon, because the possible grand slam would be the story of the summer.

He became the GOAT for me after the 2019 Wimbledon final.

I think he'll finish with about 22 or 23 slams. Once it is clear that the threat of Nadal re-catching is done, I figure it will be hard for him to maintain the motivation to stay at top level. That's the reason these three guys have been good for so long - because of each other.

There was a stat not that long ago that no one won more than like three majors after 29. I think Djoker and Nadal have blown through that. I think it ends up Djokovic 22, Nadal 21, Federer 20.

They had better rig the draw at Wimbledon and put Federer and Djokovic on opposite sides. I still think Federer is the 2nd favorite at Wimbledon just because points will be shorter, he can servebot his way deep into the tournament, and the young guys don't have the experience or accomplishment on grass yet.

A Federer/Djokovic final would be something.

Can’t see him winning them all this year, but figure he can get to at least 21 with maybe Wimbledon or the Australian next year. He can’t have too many left and I think once he sees what happens with nadals body he may fall off as motivation isn’t there.

Tsistipas will win in Paris in the future.

Maybe one last Roland Garros some time in the next couple of years? To be honest, I don't see it. I think he's done winning slams.

Maybe Wimbledon if someone beats Djokovic for him and the draw falls apart.

Federer looked good in his last couple outings. I can see him making one final run at Wimbledon.

Tsitsipas will be interesting on grass because he has a good serve and all court game, but I think he likes a lot of time to hit his shots. I think Fed will lose in like the fourth round to someone and he is basically done. If Zverev serves well, he might be a threat. I bet Rafa doesn't play.

How does he recover mentally from this? Short turnaround. I wonder if he'll even play a grass court tune-up.

Depends on draw. They aren't using the normal Wimbledon seeding formula this year, so it's just luck of the draw based on ATP Ranking. I think he makes the semis unless he ends up in Djokovic's quarter. And then I think there's a chance he retires after.

Certainly. I'm really starting to like his game and watching him play. Plus he's a head case and falls apart so it's fun.

He hinted at it the other day, but I bet he shows up. He's actually had good results there his last 2-3 times. Then I would guess he has a long break after that.

He said the other day he was having wrist issues. I think the physical toll of RG and the anguish of losing might make him want to take some time off to get fresh for the Olympics and U.S. Open. But, the good thing with Wimbledon is it's not physically demanding. So, the top players are usually fine in the long run they can just get through the first few rounds.

I forgot about the Olympics. That's going to be a shitty turnaround for those guys playing that and then the US Open. Djokovic has never won gold so you know that's on his radar and he's said as much.

Winning Roland Garros, Wimbledon, Olympic Gold, and US Open in the same summer would be the greatest accomplishment in tennis history by far, especially considering all the travel and covid bubble BS.

I would PROBABLY bet against him running the table, but I would do it very cautiously and not at very high stakes.
