What would you guys put the odds at of us seeing another major semifinal with all of the Big Four?

20%?

Seems high for something that hasn't happened since the 2012 Australian Open.

Lol that "Match Point" graphic on the net looked like it belonged in the 1980s.

Awful.

i may differ from most, but I think Nike's clothes are so freaking bad, especially in golf and tennis.

I do feel like he'll go at least once more, but I could understand him not wanting to do so.

Big freaking W by Edmund. Obviously a big opportunity for Dimitrov, but he just got outplayed.

Are you saying you don't think Federer will ever play the French again?

Not only that, but it’s extremely difficult for all 4 of them to end up in different quarters these days when their seeds are all jacked up.

Anyone up for this tussle?

Hoping Cilic at least takes a set to make it interesting.

Looks pretty likely. Rafa takes the 1st. Cilic going all out trying to hit through Rafa, but it’s a tall task to pull that off consistently.

Cilic takes the 2nd after breaking twice. Looked to be a quick night when Nadal broke early in the set.

Cilic has the game it’s all between his ears.

3rd set breaker. Needless to say, this is huge.

And Cilic with a huge choke right there at 5-5.

Brutal. The 4-4 backhand miss was almost as bad too.

And now in the 4th set he’s dialed in of course.

Rafa can barely move here in the 5th. Hate to see this end with a retirement.

Rafael Nadal retires...

Nadal has certainly had some crappy luck at this tournament throughout the years.

Just wow at seeing all of these results. Grigor is mentally soft, but he was also probably a bit tired from the Kyrgios match. This tournament is a mess as guys are coming in without much preparation from the holidays, then having to play marathon matches. The sport is becoming a bit about who can TKO the other guy and whether you have enough fuel left over from prior matches.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Fed lose to Berd.

The Nike outfits are gross. I don't understand why they have to put every guy in the same color. The yellow highlighter stuff from a few years ago was even worse than the pink.

The Big Four has like a 10% chance of all getting to the semis together. Murray's hip is the biggest issue. I think Fed will play RG again, he just really wanted to focus on that eighth Wimbledon last year. It would probably have to be a hardcourt event as Fed going deep at RG is unlikely and Rafa hasn't done much at Wimbledon in years.

There was talk going into the AO about Federer skipping the clay season again....but maybe with the latest injury to Nadal and if Nadal is out for a while, maybe Federer will reconsider.

This thing is sooo teed up for Fed now - if he can stay healthy. No doubt the steady diet of night matches has helped him. He is going to have a huge mental edge in any remaining match now with Rafa gone.

So is Rafa really hurt or did he feel like he was going to lose anyway? I think he knew after he got broke in the fourth, that he was going to have a very difficult job of winning that match. He won the third set by the skin of his teeth and some very bad misses by Cilic.

I’d say had to be hurt.

5th set is no time to quit. Not with his history anyway.

Just shows how remarkable it is that Fed remains to stay relatively healthy

Fed is 5 years older too. 5 freaking years

In 5 years Nadal will be using a wheelchair

When Fed was Nadals age now (31), he was having to compete against a 26 year old Nadal, yet midnightvibe and Nadaltards thought that was a fair comparison.......
