The Tennessee Titans field was immaculate, Lambeau looks like a cow pasture

Why does Green Bay’s field look like dog shite before the game even starts?
Posted on 1/22/22 at 8:32 pm to HoustonGumbeauxGuy
Because it’s a real football field?

The nfl is ridiculous for allowing fields to be in that condition, especially for a playoff game

There is a slight difference in climate to consider, between East Tennessee and West Siberia.

Not much you can do with grass when it gets below zero every night my dude.

It gets cold there in late September

It’s half turf and half synthetic fiber.

The grass stopped growing in Green Bay two months ago.

It was brand new turf laid after the bowl game. You could still see the creases. That’s not a good thing

Must be an Alabama fan that started this thread

Nashville is central Tennessee in a topographic basin that holds heat in. That field hasn't frozen until two weeks ago. Probably a USDA zone 7.
Is it artificial or a combination of grasses?

Its January in Green Bay.

I give them credit for sticking to grass. They keep lights on the field to grow it.

The Lambeau field was fine. OP prob thinks the Colts turf is brilliant because it appears bright green on TV, even though Williams tore his ACL on it.
