And many of you are confusing the WFL (70s) with the USFL (80s). Guess we can throw in WLAF (90s), XFL (00s), UFL (10s) and XFL again (20s).

That shite happened with ABA and they almost forced a full-fledged merger around 1970 until the Oscar Robertson lawsuit blocked it, genius. that strategy ain't without precedent, gotta have balls to get somewhere in this world, wasn't like the USFL was only suiting castoffs, they poached NFL players, signed big-time college stars, and instituted the hardship rule (a la ABA and ABL) to get people like Herschel Walker and Marcus Dupree. SUCK ON THAT, NEVER TRUMPER.
