U.S. Open Qualifiers is all? I won't say anything to give myself away for those that might know me, but some of my Europe trips were for competitions.

You let me know when you want to challenge the folks here I choose . I will be happy to include you in the top 5, but it is easy to see who can play just by the way they act. Those that can play don't have to tell everybody they can play.

I don't have his vita in front of me. We're all really impressed with your trips across the pond. Lemme tell you.

I'll continue taking advice from the guy who's made a career out of the game though. No offense.

Except your sample size on here is from people you have actually seen play or have heard from others that know they can play. I've challenged you all to playing. That isn't good enough? We need to make it happen.

Any advice on playing in a qualifier, threeputt?

I know this is for threeputt, but what I'll tell you is don't go into it with a number in your head. Just play your game. If you shoot a good number, hopefully it'll get you thru. If you don't play well, don't worry about it. Just play one shot at a time.

I guess my question is more directed at the psychological aspect heading into a qualifier. My play does get elevated when I'm playing for money, but I guess this seems like it'll be a bigger deal? I do like the one shot at a time approach. I tend to play too fast sometimes and it certainly effects me adversely sometimes. On the flip side of that..... If I run into a slow arse group, it adversely effects me as well. Qualifiers being 4-5 people and walking... The pace will be something to get use to.

Any old timers here? Anybody play any challenge matches back in the late 90's, early 2000's on am tour with La, AL, and FL competing? Bubba and Boo were on our team. Wanted to know if I might know somebody on here from Louisiana.

Oh, there are some here that I am quite positive are better than most. I am pretty sure there are lurkers that are incredible if you know what I mean. However, I am pretty sure you are not one of them. I am not saying you can't beat me, which is not really an accomlishment; but to hang with those here is silly......and to shoot 78 at St. Andrews today is laughable.
