Yes he does. BUT the gap of the MENTAL part of it was SOOO much a factor when Tiger was at his peak. Rory doesn't have THAT about him to be as good. What Tiger did was a SPECIAL time in sports history. There are only two people that DOMINATED as Tiger did, and thats RUTH and Wayne. Rory doesn't have THAT. I know he will be good but not double Digit good.

IF IF IF IF IF......... Rory learns how to play with a lead after 63 holes, he will win MAYBE 2 majors. To think otherwise is bone-headed.

Obviously I am in the minority here, in fact, nobody here agrees with me that Rory will win double digit majors. That's fine, I could easily be wrong. He hasn't even won his first one yet.
I just know that every line you guys are throwing out about how hard it is to win majors, and how only X amount of players have ever accomplished this and that, are the same lines that I used to say about Tiger. Tiger proved me wrong, and maybe McIlroy will prove you guys wrong. I just think that McIlroy has much more mental game than guys like Sergio, or even Phil. Rory is playing great in all types of majors, US Open, Masters, and British Open. He's not a one-hit wonder. He's going to have a great career, I think we all agree on that.

I already told you that Rory =/= Tiger ... The difference between the two at that age is really so big that it is not even worth talking about ..
When Tiger was that age players on tour KNEW that they had no chance against Tiger (they even joked about it publicly) ... Tiger also had a work ethic that was like no other on Tour ...
Whose scared to go head to head against Rory come Sunday

I disagree with this. He had the Masters in his hand and had a mental breakdown. Getting over THAT HUMP will be VERY important to his MAJORS sucess.

He has the talent to potentially have a great career. He's got to develop the mental toughness to go with his physical skills. Potential is one thing. Reality is often far different.

I have no argument for this JACK IS the BEST EVER in GOLF. BUT he did NOT DOMINATE as Tiger did. What Tiger did from 1997- 2002 was AMAZING.Prove me wrong.

HEY I have already said how GREAT JACK IS.
BUT you are trying to say the RORY can do these things. I just think its much harder for a golfer NOW-A Days to get anywhere near what JACK and Tiger have done. Its like parity in the NFL. The guys are just TOOO close as far as PHYSICAL game. ITS 95% mental and 5% phyisical. Rory may have a mental edge, but hasn't shown it yet.

Honestly, the kid is talented and has a sweet arse swing that I wish I could have....But he has only won once on the European Tour and Once on the PGA Tour...
Kid is young and a lot of years ahead, but I just do not see him winning more then 3-4 Majors.
