Was only about 10 feet behind the shoorter and gave a big yelp right before the release. Is that commommnplace? The ref said something to him about it after the shot. And FAU's coach said someting to the ref.

Seems pretty bush league to me. Makes me even happier that FU won the game.

No such thing as bush league when a trip to the final four is on the line.

Anyone who has ever played organized basketball knows that is a universal bitch move. You just don't do that

Nowell should have spread the ball around a little more, having said that, the one time he should have kept the ball, he passes it on their last play of the game.

He’s legitimately 5 ft 6, so probably not.

No, there’s plenty of guys who can do what he does who are much taller. When he tried to go one-on-one against the FAU big and got obliterated, that would happen every possession in the NBA.

Not only is it bush league, it's also against the rules.

yep, not even players on the bench can yell during a FT.

quote:

NCAA 9-1-f:

Art. 1. After the ball is placed at the disposal of a free-thrower, it is a violation
when:
f. An opponent (player or bench personnel) disconcerts (e.g., taunts,
baits, gestures or delays) the free-thrower

1. If the try is successful, the goal counts and the violation is
disregarded.
2. If the try is not successful, the ball becomes dead when the free
throw ends. A substitute free throw shall be attempted by the same
free thrower under the same conditions as for the original free
throw.

I wish, but I don't know how to do that. The camera angle was perfect (from behind the goal), and I noticed Nowell was talking before the ref gave the shooter the ball, but I didn't know to whom. I was curious so I stayed focused on Nowell and saw him try to disrupt the shooter right before the release.

Good buy midget and his annoying arse brother.

Chill Out Boss, his brother berated some BAW for eating a slice during the game.

My 10 year old daughter tried to do this during one of her games last season. I quickly educated her.

He was incredible on Thursday, but he did a lot of dumb stuff yesterday. 35 foot stepbacks and attempted globetrotter passes that squandered possessions. So much for the King of New York.

He'll make $30M+ in Europe over a long career.
