At least the Mets have won a World Series in my lifetime. The Nets have never won an NBA championship, and the Jets won the Super Bowl back in 1969.
Back when World Team Tennis was a thing, their team was the Sets.

Not true. They are the smaller of the two fanbases, but nowhere near as small as the Nets. Jets-Mets = probably 30 to 40 % of the fan base. Nets are probably below 5%.

False. The NY Nets fans (they played in Nassau County), and some of their spawn are Nets fans. Evan Roberts and Shaun Morash on WFAN are two prime examples.

Not even in their own market. LOL Jets are far ahead. Many others outside of NY too. Yes, they are a mid franchise, but they aren’t the Clippers.
