Where is the corruption? The NCAA can't stop anything.

Only thing is that eligibility is still within 5 years of their high school graduation

Don’t think that is correct. It’s five years from when they enter college.

While I love to bag on Louisville, I don’t see where this is any different than teams who have recruited players who played semi-pro/pro overseas.

this shite was already worked out 75 or 100 years ago by the predecessors of those who currently claim to be of any authority. They didn’t just pulls rules of eligibility out of their arse because they felt like it. They had the foresight to see that when you remove the guard rails that guide athletic competition at the college level and start throwing money at student athletes, you end up with chaos. The worst thing they could have done and are now doing is allowing college athletics to exist in limbo between a professional and an amateur venture. College athletics is what professional sports would be if there was complete unrestricted free agency across the board 24/7 365 and tampering was allowed and no legal mechanism existed to hold anyone to any sort of standards or rules

Total stupidity to think college sports from 75 or 100 years ago is any way similar to what it is now. 100 years ago nobody had TVs and Tiger Stadium fit 12,000 people.

Shady business dealing were looked over when the blue bloods were doing it. Not so blue blood Louisville does it or definitely not blue blood Santa Clara, and now it’s a “problem.”

Funny how that works.
