Going into the restart Portland had played 66 games.

Suns had played 65, Pelicans had played 64, and the Spurs had played 63. By not evening out the total games played the Blazers got to keep a game played advantage on the Suns, two games played advantage on the Pelicans and three games on the Spurs.

The Suns are 5-0 in the restart and might miss the playoffs only due to the extra game Portland got to keep.

Something tells me that the NBA has this part figured out and it will be okay.

Of course the league that bows to communism would give the most communist city in America special treatment
Thank GOD (something the nba not Portland believes in) I haven’t watched a minute.
It would just get my blood pressure going

Are you saying the extra games played by the Blazers is not an advantage?

They might miss the playoff because they didn’t win enough games before the shutdown. Stop this nonsense

At this point, with the Pelicans out, I'm rooting for Portland to make it (best chance of beating Blazers and fun team). But, if the Pelicans were still competitive, I would be so angry right now, given the head to head.

Portland lost 2 of their last 3 games prior to the shutdown, so it would have been better had they only played 63 games

The extra game proved to be very important for the Blazers.

Yet you seem to be in every NBA thread.

"hey everyone, I'm not watching the NBA!"

This would make sense if they only went by total wins.
