re: The MSB Should love this story about James Harden

He's also known as an awful teammate. Is anyone surprised by this?
Incorrect.he has been lauded by countless teammates.
The teammates who have problems with him were star players who couldn’t win on their own who came to Houston to play with harden, they soon realized that it was hardens team and not theirs. BOTH of those players requested trades to team up with an old coach on a bum team with no real leader, so They could call the shots again. It is about ego for these guys. They butted heads because they could not get their way like they had for so many years.

I mean you could probably write a similar story about every superstar player in the league
I think you could paint any superstar as a diva, but I don’t think it’s common for superstars to be so lazy and refuse to work with the team on the most basic level. Lebron can be insufferable, but I don’t think anyone has ever accused him of not working hard or ditching practices to go party.

Did he just say JASON TERRY?!
Posted on 12/17/20 at 2:43 pm to TbirdSpur2010
I can only assume you have never compared terry in the playoffs in the mavs finals run, v Chris Paul last year. Or Russ this year.
Terry was better across the board than both of them and it was not even really close.

He really did. He's trying to argue with a MAVS fan that Terry was better than those two and I'm taking the other side

I also don't want Ben Simmons.
Simmons needs to be a high-post center.

I about fell out my chair when Jason Terry was brought up. Jet averaged like 17 pts, 3 assists that postseason

Playoffs ::
Dirk 2011 v harden 2020
Per - harden
Ts - harden
Asst/turnover - harden
WS48 - harden
BPM - harden
JET 2011 v Cp 2019 v Russ 2020
Per - JET
Ts - JET
ASST/turnover - JET
WS48 - JET
BPM - JET
Just as harden outplayed dirk, JET outplayed both russ and CP3.
I am certain that anyone who does their own work would never ever say that dirk didn’t have help and played better than harden and that harden had tons of help. It couldn’t be further from the truth.

Terry averaged 30 per 100 possession on .604 TS - 44% from 3
CP averaged 23 per 100 possession on .557 TS - 27% from 3
CP3 turnover rate was 18.1. One in every 5 times he touch the ball he turned it over. On top of being a horrendous shooter.

This is awfully damning for HardLn. I thought he made his teammates better?
Dirk elevated Terry higher than Harden could elevate CP3/Russ?
Yikes!

Wait, are we really pretending WBB’s original reference to Jason terry in this thread wasn’t to compare him to Lebron? Is that what’s currently happening?

I am now a James harden fan. Dudes living the dream

I am an eye test guy, I use b-ball ref when it backups what I see. People who don’t know the game will never be able to see what I see,. see the game through my eyes. B-ball ref is a good backup to support what I see.

Shams is reporting that Philly is now willing to include Simmons.

It's funny you still think any one believes that on here

They were always offering Simmons they trying to not have to add every pick. Well that is not gonna happen bc now momo said there are many teams involved.

Several playoff-caliber teams in the Eastern and Western conferences tell ESPN that they're finding increased comfort in committing high-level trade assets in talks to acquire Harden. The Rockets have ongoing discussions on several fronts and have been communicating with Harden about those scenarios, sources said.
