Maybe it’s because his “Robin”, no matter how many different players it is, hates him.

You got to remember, this is one side of the story. When one side is hurt, they oftentimes embellish or outright make stuff up.

Not sure if it's because of how valuable superstars are in the NBA compared to other leagues, but this is the case in basically every franchise with a superstar.

Ahh.

That explains why Harden is looking like a knock-off Kendrick Perkins now

I don't like LeBron but he doesn't come across as a lazy unprofessional guy. I can't imagine anyone questioning his punctuality.
Right, not my favorite guy, but I would never question his desire to win and his focus on basketball.

It's frustrating as a Rockets fan because this culture might have cost the Rockets a championship. They had all the ingredients and James just had to buy in. He has all the talent in the world but apparently little discipline or ability to connect with the team.
Yep, if he was more focused he may have performed better in the playoffs. Before Boom chimes in with his game score, his game score could've been even higher if he actually cared more

They all have the power, but they don't all use the power in the same ways.

ETA: I don't understand what's going on with the timing of this story. Typically you would release something like this after a player is traded, or leaves in free agency. Why release it now, while the player is still on your team? You're kinda tanking your leverage

I remember when there was post sayings “it isn’t Hardens team”

Do you also remember when you said everyone wants to play with harden?

Or when you said harden is a much better locker room guy than Lebron?

Or when you whines about kawhi affecting the clippers travel?

Just more nonsense for WBB’s ever-growing list.

daryl is chomping at the bit to get harden with the sixers. Rusilio said he would have given up simmons yesterday for him. This is probably daryl feeding macmahon this to try to lower the amount of picks that he has to send.

Lebron had to trade away half the roster at the mid point of the season, that situation was worse than this.

Also, no team lebron ever played on was as good as the 08 rockets, Making harden also a better GM when his team isn’t decimated by injury.

This quote absolutely says everything about both harden and the entire rockets organization.

Harden is not the only player with power like this. Just because he’s “empowered” to do whatever he wants doesn’t excuse him being a shithead. The fact that he chooses to abuse his power in that manner speaks volumes about him as both a player and person.

And the fact that, even now, organization people say “I don’t blame him. It’s not his fault” just shows they have no intention of ever trying to reign him in, no matter how much damage he causes.

after this upcoming NBA era, i think Lebron is going to get a lot of reversals in how people on here think of him

yeah he can kind of get annoying with his branding stuff, but he was a pioneer there. you're going to have some cringe moments

Example:

however, the guy has ALWAYS been about preparing and improving his game. he's really starting to get credit for that based on how his body is holding up as an old man. he has always invested a TON of time and effort in improving his game and body.

Harden is the other end of the spectrum in terms of "superstar treatment", for guys who perform like superstars. you're going to have many more Hardens htan LBJs in the next decade

Valid point, I was thinking this was the jilted lover story coming from the Rockets, but you're right, it's probably Morey.

Unless they were on the front end of a back-to-back set, it was essentially a sure thing that the Rockets stayed overnight -- or even an extra day -- after games in Los Angeles, Phoenix and other road cities that rank among Harden's favorite stops.

If the Rockets had two or three days between games, it was a good bet Harden would call for an off day and charter a private jet to party in Las Vegas or another city. He always gets an excused absence from the first practice after the All-Star break for the same reason.

An NBA Superfan found James Harden performs worse in cities with great strip clubs

The results were astounding. According to the British Medical Journal, any correlation coefficient between 0.40-0.59 is usually considered a moderate association. The correlation coefficient determined through this analysis was .4575 or, in the Sullivan’s words, a “moderate-to-strong correlation.”

i've been arguing it on here since early Miami

people always gave him shite about something and then he'd come back with major improvement

first it was his defense

then it was his shooting

then it was his post game (l-o-l)

etc

Not the KD warriors.

He beat a warriors team that had to play varejao in game 7 second half they were so banged up.

No bogut, iggy with a locked up back, steph who couldn’t beat love in ISO due to injury.

Oh and they were aided by the green suspension. It was GSW in 5 without it.

You got to be cognizant is the circumstances that enable bron to beat that team.

Kawhi beat the warriors too.

Everyone know both kawhi and bron wouldn’t have beat them if they were even close to themselves.
