Nadal is just fricking ridiculous. It’s just not possible what he has done. We as sports fans are beyond lucky to experience Nadal and the two other greatest athletes of all time go at it against each other. We will never see anything like this in a sport ever. I can honestly say watching these three players has been one of the greatest things I’ve been able to experience in my life… over a decade and a half!

I expect a bunch of downvotes because very little of y’all pay attention to tennis. But those that do, we are the luckiest people alive.

Along with Phelps and Gretzky having a valid argument. I still favor Nadal and the rest of the big 3.

Putting your head in your hands and crying when you know you're going to win is soft.

You clearly don’t watch tennis. If you knew what Nadal has accomplished you would look at yourself like an idiot. He achieved the greatest accomplishment in sports history, it’s not even remotely close.

Nadal is a weird way to spell Bo Jackson.

Nadal isn't even the GOAT in his own sport.

I phrased it wrong… most dominant athlete ever. That’s the title that matters the most

Brady isn’t in the same tier as nadal lol. Nadal, Djokovic, and Federer are the three most dominant athletes of all time. And they played in the same era. No other sport has or will ever have that happen.

It's hard to care about Nadal when 64% of his majors are from one event.

From arguably the most prestigious event in tennis? It still counts as a grandslam lol. It just makes it even more impressive.

Clearly Serena as much as I dislike her. I also think that LeBron is a more "dominant" athlete than Nadal in the context that you're talking about.

But I know what happened when he won? Weird

He's 112-3, in the French Open. Insane. Which is why it's soft that he acts like he's surprised he won. He should be walking around with the most BDE of all time giving off the "you peasants cant touch me" vibe

I can’t watch a tennis match. But I love tennis Docs, the rivalries, the pure individualism & raw competition of the sport.

Serena was a man playing against women. What she did wasn’t even close to as impressive as Nadal, Federer, Djokovic. There is WAY more competition, physical and mental toughness in men’s tennis. Serena never had a rival that was a top 10 female player of all time besides her sister.

He was injured the entire tournament to be fair. Winning a grandslam every player cries. It’s one of the biggest accomplishment in sports just to win one.

You should find something in your life that's actually important

Because it's tennis, and they're soft.

I have an amazing life, have experienced more amazing things than I could have imagined at my age. I’m also a die hard sports fan. Luckily I was able to experience from the start to the ending of the greatest sports era in history. I’m extremely lucky to be alive during this time.

You look like an idiot lol. Tennis is a top three major sport in the world. You just know nothing about it. Tennis players are the toughest athletes in the world. Mentally for sure and arguably physically
