And to the Heat “fans” aka the band-wagoners: Congrats on outing yourselves as weak-minded cowards who are so afraid of challenges you tremble at the thought of cheering for one.
I don't really like Lebron, but how can you say this as a Lakers fan?

Jordan's legacy and brand are untouchable. You think he gives two shits about OMGZ the heat are going to ruin my legacy!!! The public definitely sees it as Jordan > everybody. Dude gambles and plays golf all day long , which (off topic) might be why his team sucks.
And Jordan is better than anyone. If we're going off stats it's wilt in a runaway, and I don't necessarily understand why people don't think he didnt play elite competition. And he was one of the most incredible athletes of al time. People always talk about it factor and intangibles, and that's all bullshite, but Jordan is the only player in any sport that I've ever seen who did have that something that wasn't tangible and couldn't be quantified or cataloged. James is a top 5 all time right NOW, but there are definitely some things, not bad but not good, about him that if you mention...OMGZ aaaaah. Lebron hater!!!!

I don't think he wants to respond to that point.

Jordan's legacy as the greatest of all time will one day be topped. Someone will one day be better. Is it Lebron? Maybe, maybe not. Give him a few years to win more titles, maybe play some baseball. Jordan will fight tooth and nail to make sure that he is seen as the best until he dies at least, and he would say anything possible to make that happen.

Mainly because people are extremely reactionary. I never thought Lebron would have a shot at winning the MVP after teaming up with Bosh and Wade, and if I knew at the time that Miami would be able to get guys like Ray Allen and Battier I would have never given him a chance, but people dismiss all of that. He is clearly the league's best player but his championships seem slightly tainted to me. I know that is taboo to say, but he is on a loaded arse team. Bosh is still capable of being an All-NBA guy but he plays a different role next to Lebron. The fact that people were saying that this team is comparable to the freaking Cavs team is a joke.
All that being said, my point is that Jordan was the perfect storm - he was the leagues most athletic player, most skilled, and the most competitive. Lebron is getting there but I don't think he's on the same level. In terms of skill, definitely.

Why are the Heat are hated? The Heat represent taking the modern short-cut to glory. They represent a lack of loyalty and dedication to team work. Other great teams in the past were built by trades, draft picks, etc by the organization (See the Lakers, Bulls, etc.). The Heat were DESIGNED in 2008 and constructed in 2010 driven by the PLAYERS. The whole idea was trying to neutralize a challenge, to avoid one player having too much pressure on them.
Why are the Heat are hated? There is a large segment of people in America who respect fighters, who respect those who rise to the challenge, who respect loyalty, and who respect someone WANTING to earn their way.
To Lebron, Wade, Bosh, and Allen: To you I say congrats. Congrats on "winning". But don't complain when others, those who know love the old fashioned American way, aren't that impressed.
It's just amazing to me that a Laker's fan can actually type this out and be serious at all.
They did the same thing by bringing Shaq on board and hiring the perfect coach to manage their dream team.
The Laker's bought a 3 peat doing exactly what you are making fun of the heat for.

Jordan is bigger than what he did on the court. I think he will be one of those players that is never surpassed in people's minds. Like Babe Ruth, he will always bein the discussion as GOAT
That being said, I know he wishes he could play this ahead team, and in his mind he knows he could beat them. It must drive him mad.

uhhhh no they didn't, why in God's name do y'all keep saying this?????

The Lakers won a title like 3 years after they signed Shaq. They didn't get over the hump till Kobe developed, ya know...the guy they fricking DRAFTED!!!! And key players like Fisher, which they DRAFTED!!!
I don't really think Shaq colluded with role players like Glen Rice, Shaw and Horry
frick you guys are retarded

I've never seen someone so oblivious to the fact they just admitted they value another persons opinion mainly bc it agrees with their own.
As for the NBA greats did you not see what Magic had to say about Lebron and the rest of the Heat during the post game last night.

I do not remember picking the bulls. I dit remember piking anythibg. Wanting the bulls, maybe I don't know, but from the moment of the decision my friends and I never talk/watch basketball, we know what's up. I get drawn in every year around finals time thinking perhaps there will be an upset but that's a fleeting hope
And that's just because I like and pick underdogs that don't play in NOLA
The 2011 Bulls were the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference and Rose won the MVP that season.
It's revisionist history to pretend like people didn't pick them to reach the Finals going into the playoffs that year, let alone that your pick was just some shot in the dark you really didnt think would happen.

People will argue this. It's idiotic. Look at what he does on a damn basketball court. If you can't get guys around him to consistently get to the championship then you're doing something REALLY wrong. God damn he's as close to a perfectly well rounded ball player as there's ever been.
It would be the same for MJ or Magic. If you have those two and can't help them then you're a moron. And screw whoever says they don't need help and look at what Lebron does on a basketball court...
The Cavs are idiots

Shaq showed no dedication to teamwork by leaving Orlando for Los Angeles via free agency.
The team he left in Orlando was better than the one that he went to in LA went he made the switch.

Bingo....it was LA, it was a no-brainer!! LEbron went to the shittiest City in America, only because he was afraid of the challenge that stood before him. Lebron quit on himself, which is unfortunate.
Yes, I'm one of the millions of Lebron haters and I always will be, no one can change that! So regardless of the apologists that try to justify being a pussy, I'll never respect what The King accomplishes...it will always be TARNISHED in my eyes!! And that's sad, because he's one of the best players I've seen.....but he fricked his legacy, plain and simple!!
