Striking out 7, only giving up 3 hits, so naturally they pull him, and of course the bullpen promptly blows it. Apparently, before the game Rojas said he was good for 100 pitches tonight.
Spend some of the money you were gonna give Bauer and buy a fricking bullpen.

Apparently they trust their bullpen and think it’s deep. For reference, so far, Diaz has a 10.80 ERA & Familia has a 6.75 ERA.
How about this stat:
Following Saturday's loss, deGrom now has a 2.06 ERA in 503 innings since 2018, and the Mets are 36-42 in his 78 starts.
