Truthfully, I don't care as long as they let us enter. Looks like its going to be an afternoon/evening storm. So if we get the morning to walk around, take some photos, and hit up the gift shop...I'll be fine.
He had Monday tickets. Walked in at 8 and started by walking the entire course. Just as he finished coming of 18, the horn blew and they closed the gates. Well, they offered him and everyone else the opportunity to buy Monday tickets for the following year.
So he got to walk the entire course in 2014, and return in 2015

That shirt is a classic. Let it air dry. Press it with light starch.
Wear it with some classic Dockers and loafers with no socks.

Probably been mentioned but this is a pretty long thread...
for a first timer what's the best plan of action? Should we go straight for a particular green and camp out? Walk the entire thing then pick a green to stay at? Follow the big names?
Also are there restrictions on the kind of chairs people bring? I'd kinda feel like a bum but the only folding chair I have is the standard red tailgate chair with a G on it. Also if we leave a chair at a greenside nobody is gonna frick with it? That's pretty nice.

Straight upon entry, I am going to the gift shop. After I buy my shite, going to drop it off at a chexkstand
Then going to walk to the 16th and drop my chair of(has to be a collapsible chair with no arm rest)
After that, I am walking the course while pounding beer and egg salad sandwiches
After that, I am heading back to 16 to sit in my chair

I got to go for the first time last year for the Tuesday practice round. Like you said, hit the gift shop early and drop off your merchandise at the checkstand so that you don't spend too much money when you get drunk off the cheap beers. My group also went early, before the line got too long, and took a picture in front of Butler Cabin. It's free and is something that I framed and hung on the wall.
Go sit in the stands at 16 and watch the pros skip the ball across the pond. Hole 6 is a cool spot too because they are teeing off on the hill and the ball flys over your head. Everything is first class, even the restrooms, it's ridiculous.

I was in the same boat and was able to mark taking a dump at Augusta off the bucket list. They have someone that cleans the toilet after each use. It's quite amazing.

WG, the first thing I do every year when I get there after setting up my chair is walk the course. It's the best.

I second this.
Get a beer before you get started.

I shite in the locker room (not Champions obviously) in 2014. Called my dad from one of the phones in the clubhouse when I finished and told him what I'd done. He said "well, now I know two people that have shite in the locker room at Augusta." I asked him who the other was and he said "Jack Nicklaus."
