What do you mean? The fact that he made his announcement in the same exact way that every single other top recruit in the country does? Yeah, frick that guy.

In your long paragraph attempting to show that you aren't butthurt, you came off as really butthurt.

how about the way he was a silent commit to USC for over a year and pretended to have legit interest in LSU so LSU didnt even recruit another back for the class and didnt know he was heading west until NSD. Or how about the time he was on LSUs campus for his official and was talking shite about LSUs coaches to other staffs via text message?

Um no, you obviously dont remember his recruiting fiasco involving Ole Miss, USC, and LSU. He went out of his way to rub salt in the wounds and hinder LSU's class, probably by design from Carrol, Kiffin, and co. His recruitment was highly publicized at the time and made LSU look bad.

Im not trying to show anything, except why most LSU fans dont like the guy. No apologies from me for rooting against him. I hope he fumbles every carry.

so he cannot keep his options open? LSU had the opportunity to convince him to come to BR. It's a competition...was he supposed to be grateful to them? They wanted him, not the other way around.

Not his problem

You made it an LSU discussion by bashing Les, Russell Sheppards development, and by saying he plays favorites.

I simply made a few of 1,000,000 suggestions of why he might prefer USC over LSU, which is what everyone is still obsessed over. None of it is bashing LSU. The whole idea of this thread is that he would be better off had he gone to LSU, which is, frankly, absurd.

His fault, not LSU's. He wasn't an elite QB, he wasn't an elite Rb, and he wasn't and elite WR. LSU got him because they gave him a shot at QB, when Texas didn't. He got his shot, and showed why he wasn't projected to play QB in college. He moved to WR halfway through his freshmen season and was mediocre at best.

to be fair, he wasn't given a real shot here. His 7 YPC don't tell the real story, but he's not a Miles style running back (as a starter)...I would have liked him in the #2 slot as RB, change of pace,3rd down back.

Its been said several times already and you keep ignoring it... People dont dislike him for not choosing LSU, its the way he tried to throw LSU under the bus on his way out the door.

do you honestly believe that a 17 y/o kid has any power to hurt a major football program aside from accepting illegal gifts and/or benefits. He shite talked LSU...big deal. I'm sure he isn't the first, last or only recruit to do this and LSU is not the only school to have this happen.

6 years, and we're still talking about it.

I wouldn't even begin to speculate on how his football career would have turned out.

But, I would venture to guess his life after football would have been better had he stayed in state.

I guess there's that Broadcast Journalism degree he got from USC to fall back on....

And, at least he left their program on good terms....

Great job opportunities for him to support his family. House sitting for Reggie Bush, maybe?

Dude the only reason were talking about it is because he just got cut and LSU fans are returning the favor of kicking him while he's down. Not sure why this is so hard for you to understand.

What is he your neighbor or something? Why do you care so much that he's disliked?

No, but no point in lying to the staff about it.

and continued to lie to our staff.

Where is your source?? And you are not cryin about McKnight, right?? Pitiful. McKnight made the right choice after seeing the whining on here. The guy could care less about what y'all feel.
