Gigem 247 was told something similar earlier this week in that Johnson would be out about a month with his injury. In his absence, Fisher said on Monday that they would get King and frosh Conner Weigman ready to play. King is projected to get the start and Gigem 247 has been told that Weigman is expected to see the field. Fisher praised both quarterbacks for different reasons during the press conference.

They really should just start Weigman. King it absolutely horrible. Max wasn't much better frankly.
Maybe not throw Connor to the wolves against Bama but after that game he needs to be playing

No need to risk Connor getting hurt at Bama, unless King does. Bye week after Bama, with 2 weeks to prepare for South Carolina. Monday will be the best time to put him in as QB1 to practice with the 1s for the next game.

After the Sam Houston game I made a comment on the SECR about him looking like a child trying to throw an NFL ball with that motion. Aggy lost their shite on me for 2 days.

Weigman might be lost. Even back when Jimbo could develop QBs, none of them picked up his system early in their career except for Jameis and he redshirted.
