Uh, P&G is huge. The league will bend for them before they bend for the league.
They may but only bc this country is full of pussies. If the owners really wanted to dont have to bend for anyone. The perks of having a monopoly. They pay the NFL, not the other way around. Now if they start threatening to stop showing the games then you will have something.

I have no idea why they don't get rid of Goodell. He's not why the NFL is where it is...he's had a part in it, but it's a well oiled machine now and I'm pretty sure someone else could take over and do better than this piece of crap.

Rachel Nichols and TMZ Sports guys brought the fricking heat. Same with the lady that brought up the "ignorance is no excuse for negligence" or whatever

You are actually watching that garbage?

This is the beginning of the end. Goodell is gone

P&G will be back once they realize no other entertainment vehicle brings the eyeballs like the NFL.
These companies have made these grandstand plays to impress all their PC cocktail party circuit friends. They'll quietly re-up with the league shortly.
This, Goodell is an idiot though and is most likely gone. The NFL made its own bed kowtowing to every PC whim and group and now they have to lay in it.

Huh? The NFL doesn't have a monopoly on advertising. I'm not sure what your point is. P&G can just as easily sell paper towels and tampons paying for ad time during Maury.

Still out of touch I see.

P&G can do whatever they want. They're one of the largest corporations on Earth.

P&G is a huge fricking company. That is terrible for the NFL.
I'm sure Drew Brees is pissed since Tide and Nyquil are two of his biggest endorsements.

I'll go on record AGAIN and say Roger Goodell isn't going anywhere anytime soon. People thinking otherwise are delusional.

I wish I could change my name to DontPutMeInTheElevator now.

They are far and away the leader in ratings and are the only professional football association that I know of. When this shite blows over they will all be back re-upping, at the end of the day its business and money.

Yes it made it worse. It was really smart to have the PC on a Friday. I think he's toast though.

We heard similar statements about Sterling. I'd say it's a coin flip right now. If media pressure stays high, more companies will follow P&G then owner support will dry up. They're only protecting him now because of the the perception that he's done a decent job looking out for the bottom line, especially in the CBA. Threaten that, and he's done.
