Pretty sure I was in the mid nineties. My scorecard looked like this after hole 3:

First of all I'm

I met my dad at dumas and shot 40 on the front. I was very pleased.
I was +6 on after 16, only to bogie and double bogie the last two holes

...so 40/40 for an 80. (3 birdies)

overall, a good round...just disappointed that I didn't shoot about 78 because it was there for the taking.

Finally broke 100. I only had one hole where it got way out of hand. I usually have 3 or 4.
Congrats! I'm usually the same with 5 or so holes like that. My best is 108.

Its like $24 or $26 on the weekends with a cart. I refuse to pay that.

I had a similar 79 last week. Bogies on the last two holes. Though I was actually pleased with my bogie on 17. Short par three, I hit a 9 but by that point I was having a little trouble gripping my clubs(hit a similar shot on 18). Had no shot for the pin because there was a tree then a bunker between me and the hole. I just chipped out to the fat part of the green to take double out of play. Almost made my par. So other than the tee shot, I played a good hole.

Gotcha. And I agree.

The course I am about to play is 25 right now and drops to 15 after 4. I have never played it and it might be a shite hole but I want to give it a shot. Houston has a bunch of courses that are actually pretty nice for a decent price. So I'm hoping this holds true with this course, though that is really cheap.

Webb is more than that on the weekends

That may be weekday rates but weekend is probably 30 or 32

Overpriced but convenient

Ty. I've been able to play a lot more in the past 2 months. Starting to pay off.

Btw, copper mill has a $19 twilight July special mon-thur. Also cheap prices the rest of the week. You have to present an email they sent out. I'll email it to anyone interested.

Edit: See my post below with link to printout.

I did terrible on the par 5s on the front. Doubled both. Had three birdies on the front as well.
