If you want the show on DTV, the danettes get their own show after the radio show

Its putrid.

agreed. SVP is the only one that comes close to DP, IMO.

It shows you that it isnt a schtick. They really are pathetic. They will go one for 10 minutes on how Dan was mean to them and it made them sad

In what world?
Whatever world in which the National Association of Broadcasters exists. DP is the current Marconi winner. His show is the best.

Dan Patrick definitely has one of the most "holier than thou" attidudes of all national media.
That's because he backs it up. He co-invented along with KO the version of SportsCenter that hundreds have failed to properly imitate in Bristol, he's won a Marconi, and he isn't taking a step back anytime soon. And he catches the Mothership stealing from him occasionally, so even they know he's the best.

I wish SVP would leave ESPN. He's great.

He may have brought it to prominence, but Kilborn invented it.

Is this something we're supposed to give a flying frick about?

His show is garbage.

Craig debuted on SC 16 months after DP & KO began their on-screen late-night partnership. Get your facts straight.

It's the "Best Actor in a Leading Role" of radio, so...yes. Yes it is. It's the award for broadcaster of the year awarded by the one group of people on earth who collectively know virtually everything there is to know about broadcasting.

Not sure what you're looking for, but it's the best option in morning sports radio. And by a pretty good margin.

Steve Czaban takes a big ole steaming dump on DP. Unfortunately most don't have yahoo sports radio.

And they were exactly the same from Day 1? No time to grow into what they became?

Either you think the people that hand out awards are infallible, or you have no idea how they actually judge the nominees.

I like Czaban. But it seems like his show has even more commercials than others. Each hour is like 24 minutes of content and 36 minutes of ads.

I don't know how old you are, but I actually watched them on Day 1, and yes, they were doing something unique from the beginning. Meanwhile, Craig was looking for consistent work and putting "Play-by-play for the Savannah Spirits" at the top of his résumé. Again, get your facts straight before trying to be a smart arse. ESPN hired guys like Craig, Mayne, and Boo-yah because Dan and Keith were such a hit doing what they had been doing on the late night "Big Show."

I hold their collective opinion much more highly than I hold yours.

You lose this one. Move on.

I see that it's available in pod form, which probably means no commercial breaks. I'll check him out.

Get rid of front dannettes. One likes soccer and the other doesn't know he's gay yet. At least McLovin took a check from the hockey player and the other guy does, "Cougar of the Week".

I'm old enough to see through your bullshite. Congrats on wikipedia-ing bios and sucking off Dan Patrick. He's not the sports radio savior you seem to think.

And the collective opinion of a group of nerds that listen to one episode of 5 different sports talk shows to determine which one is the best in the country is about as worthwhile as the shite my dog took this morning.

McLovin is easily the most annoying, and from the outside appears to be the most expendable. The other 3 are all very good at their jobs (especially Fritz)and are easy to listen to. McLovin appears to try way too hard.
